The Spam Act 2003 sets out your responsibilities under Australian law when sending marketing SMS to Australia. All recipients must have previously been Opted-IN to receive Marketing messages, and ONLY Clean Marketing is allowed with Opt-out mechanism in place

All Sender ID shall start with prefix “#”, followed by three (3) to ten (10) characters. For the avoidance of doubt, “#”is not allowed in any position other than in the prefix of a Sender ID All Hong Kong banking traffic must be carried by Registered SMS Service Provider (RSSP).
