Step by Step Guide to Register Your Alphanumeric Sender ID in Austria

Registration Process

To register your Alphanumeric Sender ID for all networks in Austria , it requires that you provide the following documents depending on your registration criteria: 

A1 Telekom Austria - LoA

 

Additional Note:

Sender IDs can be used 14 days after registration; the client or user, as a holder, can register a maximum of 40 sender IDs in a period of six months; RTR can delete non-compliant entries (with notification and an option for a formal decision), and deletion triggers a one-month block on re-registering.

Once a sender ID is registered in the RTR directory and message originates from the Sender ID owner, it will be delivered.

If the Sender ID is not registered in the RTR directory, all messages using that Sender ID won't be delivered.

If the Sender ID is in the RTR directory, but it is unclear whether the message originated from the Sender ID owner the message will be delivered, however the Sender ID will be changed to “Unbekannt” (=Unknown).
